These terms and this privacy policy apply to the Sabí service (“Sabí”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operated under Dutch law. Last updated 26 September 2026.
Draft notice. This page is a template built on general principles of Dutch and EU law (Book 6 & 7 of the Burgerlijk Wetboek, the GDPR and the Dutch UAVG implementation). It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Replace the bracketed placeholders below with Sabí's actual legal entity, registration and sub-processor details, and have counsel review it, before relying on it as a binding agreement.
Sabí is operated by [Sabí legal entity name], a company registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number [KVK number], with its registered office at [registered address, Netherlands] and VAT/BTW number [NL VAT number] (“Sabí”, “we”, “us”).
Sabí reads a customer's codebase and related sources on merge and generates and maintains developer, internal, and customer-facing documentation from it (the “Service”). Sabí is currently offered as a private beta to a limited number of companies. Features, availability, and pricing may change materially during the beta period, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect a customer's use of the Service.
A customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information it provides, for the conduct of the users it authorises to access the Service, and for keeping its credentials confidential. The Service may not be used to store or process content that is unlawful under Dutch or applicable EU law, to reverse-engineer or resell the Service without our written consent, or to attempt to circumvent its security measures.
During the private beta, pricing is agreed individually with each customer in a separate order form or written agreement, which prevails over any conflicting term here. Published, self-service pricing will apply once the beta period ends, and existing beta customers will be given reasonable notice before any change takes effect.
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its underlying software, models, and documentation templates. A customer retains all rights in its own source code, product content, and the documentation Sabí generates from it, and grants us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide and improve the Service for that customer.
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but during the private beta we do not offer a guaranteed uptime service level. Planned maintenance and known incidents are communicated to customers in advance where reasonably possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent (opzet) or wilful recklessness (bewuste roekeloosheid), or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Dutch law. Subject to that, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees paid by the customer to us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, or data. Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (overmacht, Article 6:75 Burgerlijk Wetboek).
These terms apply for as long as a customer has an active beta agreement or subscription with us. Either party may terminate for the other party's uncured material breach on 30 days' written notice. On termination, we will make a customer's exported content available for a reasonable period and then delete it in line with our data retention practice described in the Privacy Policy below.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, for material changes, notify active customers by email in advance of the change taking effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection forum a party is entitled to under applicable law.
This policy explains how we process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its Dutch implementing act (Uitvoeringswet AVG), and is enforced in the Netherlands by the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
For data collected through this website and in the course of providing the Service to a customer's own users, [Sabí legal entity name] is the data controller, reachable at [privacy contact email] and at the address in section 1 of the Terms of Service above. Where we process a customer's own end-user data on that customer's instructions in order to provide the Service, we act as a processor on that customer's behalf under a separate data processing agreement.
We share personal data with hosting, infrastructure, email, and analytics sub-processors strictly to operate the Service and this website, under written data processing agreements. [List of sub-processors and their location to be added here.] Where a sub-processor is located outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another valid GDPR transfer mechanism. We do not sell personal data.
We keep contact and account data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for a reasonable period after a beta relationship ends to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-defence obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Source code and product content processed to generate documentation is retained only as long as the customer's active connection to Sabí requires, and is deleted within [retention period] of disconnection or contract end.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [privacy contact email]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or your own EU supervisory authority.
This website uses essential cookies needed for it to function, and, only with your consent, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time through your browser settings. [Add a link to a dedicated cookie banner/preferences tool once one is implemented, as required under the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet.]
We use technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation, appropriate to the risk of the data we process. No system is completely secure, and we will notify affected customers and, where required, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens without undue delay in the event of a personal data breach, in line with Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will post the updated version here and, for material changes, notify active customers by email in advance of the change taking effect.
